The 2008 G5 is a 2-door, 5-passenger family coupe, available in two trims, the Coupe and the GT Coupe.
Upon introduction, the Coupe is equipped with a standard 2.2-liter, I4, 148-horsepower engine that achieves 25-mpg in the city and 35-mpg on the highway. The GT Coupe is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, I4, 171-horsepower engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 32-mpg on the highway. A 5-Speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 4-Speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
The 2008 G5 is a carryover from 2007.
