The 2009 SLR is a 2-door, 2-passenger convertible sports car, available in one trim only, the McLaren Roadster.
Upon introduction, the SLR is equipped with a standard 5.5-liter, V8, 617-horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 12-mpg in the city and 16-mpg on the highway. A 5-Speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
The 2009 SLR is a carryover from 2008.
