The 2008 Tahoe Hybrid is a 4-door, 8-passenger sport-utility, available in two trims, the 1HY 2WD and the 1HY 4WD.
Upon introduction, the 1HY 2WD is equipped with a standard 6.0-liter, V8, 332-horsepower, hybrid engine that achieves 21-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. The 1HY 4WD is equipped with a standard 6.0-liter, V8, 332-horsepower, hybrid engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 20-mpg on the highway. A 4-Speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
The 2008 Tahoe Hybrid is all-new for 2008.
